• Casting Spells WIth Art

Even without effort all art is created with intention and that it is inherent in the object created which can be experienced while interacting with this object. (seeing it) Now to answer the second question as to how to communicate my intentions... by communicating ya silly goose! SO, let us take your shirt for example... and specifically the dying of this shirt... which is where I see most of the spell casting happening. It is between a 1 and 4 hour process depending on the desired strength of the color (also important) I love reds and purples for their richness and my mind just makes happy chemistry when I see them. To me the red is blood, life, passion and life energy. If I end up mixing a little orange it becomes Fire and I intend to throw a little gold in to represent abundance.
The dye needs to be held in a pot over flame so now I have 2 opportunities to add intention. The pot itself, right now, is just a pot I bought on Amazon for $12, but it does not need to stay that way. There are various symbols I like from a whole host of cultures which focus energy and I will adorn my pot with these. The Bodhi tree remains a powerful symbol in Buddhism since it represents a human being's capacity to attain enlightenment and find the joy and peace of Nirvana.”
Having actually taken a pilgrimage to Bhod Gaya India to see this tree and partake in the Bodhisattva ceremony which was led by the Dalai Lama himself in 1998, I have a leaf from this tree which I have kept with me for 25 years. This leaf will be present and part of the ritual dying of your shirt and its image will adorn the pot (now an official cauldron.) I also will invoke the beautiful words of Khalil Gibran who wrote “The Prophet” by putting my symbol for him on the pot… and will recite, from my personal copy which I have carried with me for 30 years, passages whose poetry reflects the intentions I want. This book was given to me by one of the greatest loves of my life and a person of such magic that it is pr

Am I putting too much into these shirts or am I just hoping to appeal to an audience/market that cares about what they wear and see it as an expression of their personality, beliefs and loves?
